Migrashun is proud to release SEED 015. Pär Grindvik or his pseudonym The Hollow has been a core person of the Swedish electronic scene since the nineties as record store-owner (Illegal Stockholm), label manager and producer. He is a well established artist and after many years of touring and releases on big name labels like Drumcode, Spectral Sound and his own label Stockholm LTD, which he created and founded in 2002, he is now based in Berlin, Germany.  Expect an hour of heavy hitting techno madness that shows Migrashun isn’t afraid to get heady when needed!

Migrashun is proud to release SEED 014. Raw Hedroom is the musical alias of Gareth Williams. Having immersed himself in electronic music and culture for more than ten years, Gareth has worn several hats in the electronic music industry. Right now, he produces techno for Cologne's Trapez label, builds custom performance systems for Richie Hawtin's Plastikman Live tour and steers the ship at Line - this man-machine has a thirst for challenges and won't let something as mundane as time hold him back.

Migrashun is proud to release SEED 013. Franklin De Costa's first releases were way back in 1996 on his own label Fusion Records (w/ 303 Nation Member, Patrick Vauillaume). Under his Tichy moniker Franklin released various EPs on Frankfurt techno labels until the end of the 90s. His search for inspiration brought him to a very experimental production phase without the "4 to the floor“ preset. From this he developed his distinctive trademark sound with straight grooves and frisky sound design. Now concentrating on DJing and organising parties, Franklin began the extroverted phase of the studio nerd.

Stavöstrand mixes deconstructed sounds with funky little beats to create minimal dance textures. He has released over 40 12" Ep's and 19 Albums (CD, DLP, LP) so far and he has been featured on many compilation and mix records. He is also a sought after as a remix artist. The last years he has been playing live around the world at respected clubs such as Fabric, Panorama Bar, Avalon, Weekend, Watergate, Fuse, Otto Zuts, Batofar, Rex, Cargo, Cocoliche, Mandarine, Mighty, Arma, Mutek, Decibel, Resolute, King King, 222, Brancaleone and many more. We are very pleased to have such a seasoned, influential artist join the mix and hope you find it as enjoyable as we did.

Migrashun is proud to release SEED 010. Having finally reached double digit acclaim, we are very happy to announce that this special SEED mix has been completed by the fabulous Eric Cloutier! Born and bred in Michigan, and currently based in Brooklyn, Eric Cloutier is one of a new generation of American DJs bridging the gap between dance music's past and its future. His sets have a sprawling depth and sophistication that fuses the brooding intensity of tripping techno with the mechanic funk of contemporary house. He is currently a residents at The Bunker and mid-week soiree Den of Thieves in New York.

Minz is a DJ, producer and live performer from the Netherlands who's been involved in electronic music since the early 90s. 2 years ago he started to focus on producing dance music and early 2007 his productions caught the attention of Ripperton. In may 2007 Minz released his debut un/mute EP on Ripperton's Perspectiv label. He prefers to play both cutting edge new tracks and obscure old records that time forgot. With a penchant for taking the dance floor on a trip full of detail and variety, Minz shies away from all the obvious choices. Expect yet another smooth, technically skilled mix performed on Vinyl that is capable of creating world peace for all!

Coming off their one year anniversary event, Migrashun shows no sign of stopping the whirlwind they have created in the city of Chicago. Being hosts to many successful events featuring both local and international talent, the Migrashun crew is now collaborating with SmartBar to host their second event at this legendary Chicago establishment. This night is focused around the man, the myth, the phenomenon that DJ Koze, AKA Adolf Noise has become. He is one of the most integral in electronic music. Never taking the easy road, he brings an eccentric tone to a rotting formula while ingeniously keeping the soul and feeling of what proper techno/house music is meant to evoke. We expect nothing but greatness on what sure is to be an eye and ear opening night. Joining him on this special night will be Chicago local, Ariel Frank, who is quickly becoming a mainstay throughout the Mid-West scene.

Having released music on labels such as Natura Sonoris, Perspectiv, Meerestief, Factor City & Time Has Changed, he is quickly becoming known around the globe for his unique, emotional music that can be gestural and physical, sometimes intellectual and psychological, it resulting from feelings and ask to be shared. Influenced by electronic music as well as by the classic, rock or jazz, the music of Van Hai is unique and unusual. Look out for his debut album which will be call “Ruptures “ in 2010. The female pseudonym borrowed from a character in “Requiem for a Dream” hides Jean-Vincent, an extraordinary French Techno Producer who just released the largely acclaimed “Heartbeat City” EP. Enjoy this techno heavy mix with over 20 tracks performed live on vinyl in around an hour and 10 minutes!

Migrashun is proud to release SEED 006. This is the six seed mix and has been put together by Klectik label boss and skilled DJ, Jason Patrick. This mix is on more of a deeper and sexy vibe, and inspired by some of his sets played at the Carroll Ave lofts. The mix also features a new track from Dilo vs Gurtz that will see release on my lablel, Klectik, in both vinyl and digital formats this month and next for digital! The mix was recorded with a Macbookpro, running Serato, two 1200's, and Ecler NUO3 mixer, a Cycloops looper, into Ableton Live.

He shows no signs of slowing down and just recently relocated state side from Mexico. Expect a techno oriented burner that builds and flows like it was meant to melt minds.

Migrashun is a seed that throughout time has been cultivated, genetically altered, and engineered with years of experience guiding the way. Mathias Matthew created Migrashun to inject life, inspire, and give millions of tech house, minimal, deep house and techno fans an outlet to see and hear performers from the lighter side of the fence. All the while, making sure that music is not only moving your body but also your soul and mind. Migrashun was established in 2009 as a top tier promotion agency in the United States for Tech-House, Deep House, Techno, and Minimal. Its aim is to provide audiences throughout the world with superior musical entertainment in an unquestionable atmosphere of professionalism and consumer satisfaction. Migrashun has taken upon itself to create opportunities for young, unique, and gifted producers and performers to prove their worth and to mature within the industry. Migrashun is also integrally focused on becoming an industry-leading label and talent management organization. We are here to introduce the press and music connoisseurs to Migrashun and give attendees a sample of what we plan to do in Chicago. Migrashun’s initial goal is to focus on local talent management and event production.
